To meet food industry needs, which require products that are increasingly “eyecatching” and have increased shelf life, Gruppo Fabbri makes the skin packaging available on XPEED 1, the compact tray-sealer that represents one of the centre pieces of the Company for industrial packaging.
The essential components of a machine to carry out preparation for market in skin mode are:
• an extractor assembly for vacuum
• a skin eco-gas kit
• a mould in suitable version
On XPEED 1 these three elements are integrated effectively on the modular base of the machine, so as to preserve the appearance of the package and optimise the energy costs of production.
Due to its high flexibility XPEED 1 can be used – subject to the appropriate packaging program change – even for packaging cycles in gas-flush, vacuum-gas and eco-gas mode (the special punching tool eco-gas is one of the 160 successful patents of the Gruppo Fabbri), in addition to the easy sealing machine.
XPEED 1 is a compact tray-sealer for the preparation for market of fresh food products, that meets the needs of the packaging industry and of large packaging centres.
The machine provides its top of the range performance, as it is the only tray-sealer in its segment with both double and single-line in-feed.
Added to the machine’s excellent performance in the skin preparation for market, the intelligence of XPEED 1 system provides increased consumption savings, high productivity and contained dimensions.
XPEED 1 in skin mode is compatible with all popular films on the market with thickness between 80 and 150 μ. In addition it uses different types of trays, in EPS (with PE sealing) as well as rigid PP, both transparent and coloured, and all other types suitable for tray sealing.
