The new machines in the Elixa® series of the Gruppo Fabbri are immediately recognisable, thanks to a refined restyling which characterises its ergonomic and technological uniqueness: the revamped brand and the colour blue that henceforth distinguish them communicate innovation and reliability, making the new range easily identifiable in any situation.
But it is the performance and technology level through which these latest generation packaging machines differentiate themselves from the previous series: firstly with cutting-edge electronics, which ensures their maximum durability and reliability in any operating environment.
The additional photocells added at the in-feed entrance, the next-generation microswitches, the innovative design of the exit conveyor and gas springs for the opening of the exit device ensures users operate in complete safety.
Special features, such as the smart stand-by mode of the sealing belt on the outlet tray and the new outfeed, reduce energy consumption and heat dissipation, with an energy savings up to 50% compared to previous versions.

The new Elixa®, in addition proudly maintain all the features that have always connoted success, such as the automatic reading of the format, use of one film reel, optimised film consumption thanks to the super-stretch patented technology “Elixa®”, compactness, maximum integration with manual and automatic weight-pricing systems and ease of use.
From December 2015 onwards, the new Elixa® family of the Gruppo Fabbri will therefore include:
• Elixa 14 (former Elixa XP14): entry-level model with maximum speed selected of 14 ppm
• Elixa 21 (former Elixa XP): offers a +5% increase in productivity, reaching 21 ppm
• Elixa 24 (former Elixa ZX): particularly suited for in-store applications and small-medium packaging centres, thanks to a maximum speed selected of 24 ppm
• Elixa 35 (former Elixa Mega): designed for preparation for market centres and medium to large sized retail outlets and placed at the top of the range for its performance and a maximum speed selected of 35 ppm
• Elixa 30L (former Elixa Max): the perfect and versatile solution in situations requiring the use of large trays or family size format, with a maximum speed selected of 30 ppm
